Even before the Christian era, Psalm 23, with timeless words of compassion, hope, and encouragement, was a source of comfort during times of trouble.

Yet the words, “I shall not want,” remain an ever-present challenge for modern believers.

“Trusting the Shepherd may seem easy,” says author Haddon Robinson, “but anyone who tries it finds that life makes it hard to do.”

Haddon Robinson’s Trusting the Shepherd will help you look at your relationship with God in a deeper, more intimate way.

What Others Are Saying

Average Rating

This book was truly a blessing to me. I've read the scriptures that were mentioned in the book many times and believe them with all my heart, but reading all about the ways of a shephard, and I like how you put it; "leaving our air-conditioned houses, and live for a while under the blazing hot Middle Eastern Sun." really made it come to life! I would recommend this book to anyone. A MUST READ FOR ANYONE WANTING TO REALLY KNOW HOW OUR LORD CARES FOR US!

This book provides insight into David's world and his environment as a shepherd. It is wonderful encouragement for anyone going through difficult times. I come back again and again to buy copies of this book to give to others, to encourage them and let them know I'm thinking about them.
