This is possibly the best book I have ever read (of course other than God’s Word). Thank you Gary Inrig for your insight and teaching of this most valuable lesson on the Book of Judges. It is true that we, today, live in that same time declaring “they all did what was right in their own eyes.” Lord help us in our times of not looking to You, but looking at this world through man’s eyes. I taught the book of Judges three years ago at my church and this is the commentary I used. It is excellent. I was so inspired by it and learned so much from a book (Judges) that is often overlooked in the OT, that I emailed Dr. Inrig and told him. And he wrote me back! I heartily recommend this book as a study guide to the book of Judges.

Hearts of Iron, Feet of Clay is one of the most fascinating studies I've read on the book of Judges. It is insightful with new look at some lesser known judges. It's a book you will read "very slowly" to take it all in—J., Kentucky
